The Aurora University baseball team headed to Schaumburg to take on Dominican University in a midweek NACC doubleheader. Game one was a battle with AU taking the trusty win 5-3. Game two then started off with a boom on the way to a 14-4 seven inning victory to complete the sweep.

Game One:
- Dominican scored first with one run in the first inning.
- AU responded with a Joe Lukancic single scoring Jaden Holgado in the second.
- The Stars reclaimed the lead with another run in the third.
- Zack Tarrant singled in Matthew Washington in the fifth to tie up the game again, now 2-2.
- AU tacked on two more in the sixth to take a 4-2 lead.
- Dominican grabbed another in the bottom of the inning to make it 4-3 Spartans.
- The final run of the ball game came when Washington hit a SAC fly to center, scoring Isaac Wendler.
- AU takes game one 5-3.

Game Two
- Here come the boom in game two as the Spartans put trust in their bats on their way to a win.
- AU tallied five runs in the first, starting off with a Ryan Buck bases loaded walk.
- Capping off the big inning was Washington who brought around Czarnecki.
- The Stars put up two runs in the second to almost halve the AU lead, now 5-2.
- AU tacked on four runs over the fourth and fifth innings and now led 9-2.
- Dominican grabbed one more in the bottom of the fifth, now 9-3.
- Kyle Mack doubled in Lukancic and Wendler in the sixth to extend the lead.
- Then in the seventh, AU put up three more runs in the top of the seventh to engage the mercy rule.
- Dominican tried all they could but only came up with one run in the bottom of the inning, keeping the mercy rule in effect.
- AU booms their way to a win in game two by a final score of 14-4.
