The Aurora University softball program swept a NACC doubleheader against Edgewood on Senior Day at Bedrosian Stadium on Saturday afternoon, opening the day with a 2-1 victory before securing the sweep with a 4-2 win in game two.

Game One
- The game was a pitcher's duel early, with both teams held scoreless through the first two innings.
- Edgewood broke through in the third inning, using a two-out RBI double to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Spartans were held off the board until the sixth, when Stephani Debise and
Angie Delgado recorded back-to-back singles to spark the rally.
Maddie Zdanek came around to score on an error, tying the game at 1-1.
- AU completed the comeback in the seventh.
Leila Lopez led off with a pinch-hit single and moved into scoring position on a sacrifice bunt. After another base hit, Richards delivered a walk-off RBI single to right field to seal the 2-1 victory.
- The Spartans totaled eight hits on the day, with
Nina Richards leading the way with two hits and the game-winning RBI. Delgado and Debise also added two hits each in the win.

Emma Way delivered a strong performance, tossing a complete game. She allowed just one run on five hits while striking out two to earn her eighth win of the season.
Game Two
- The Spartans struck first in the opening inning.
Aubrey Ortiz reached and later came around to score on an RBI single from Stephani Debise to give the Spartans an early 1-0 lead.
- Edgewood answered in the second to tie the game, but AU quickly responded.
Alyssa Gale scored on a bunt single from
Mia Malczyk to put the Spartans back in front 2-1.
- The Spartans added key insurance runs in the third inning.
Lily Komperda delivered an RBI triple to extend the lead, and Gale followed with an RBI single to make it 4-1.
- Edgewood cut into the deficit with a run in the fourth, but the Eagles threatened again in the fifth, loading the bases. The Spartans responded by turning a key double play and escaping the inning without allowing a run.
- The Spartans defense held Edgewood scoreless over the final two innings to secure the victory.
- Aurora totaled 11 hits in the game, with Stephani Debise leading the way with three hits and an RBI.

Mia Rivera added a 2-for-3 performance at the plate, while Komperda and Gale each drove in a run.
