The Aurora University baseball team hosted the University of Chicago Maroons for some action under the lights Wednesday evening. The Spartans welcomed back former Spartans and current assistant coach of the Maroons Bobby Wilson. AU controlled the game early on but the Maroon bats woke up late and the Spartans would fall 9-4.

- The Spartans scored first, when in the second, Julian Rosales hit a RBI single to score Isaac Goddard.
- Joe Lukancic singled later in the inning to score Matthew Washington and expand the AU lead to now 2-0.
- Rosales hit a SAC fly in the sixth to score Ryan Buck .
- AU now led 3-0 after six innings of play.
- U Chicago scored twice in the top of the seventh, now 3-2.
- Nick Czarnecki put the ball in play in the bottom of the inning to score Lukancic.
- The Maroons then went on a 7-0 run over the course of the final two innings, taking the lead.
