The Aurora University women's lacrosse program on the field success once again turned into post season accolades as the Spartans received attention from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) when the organization announced the 2026 Division III All-Region Teams. Seniors Nicolina Smith and Alle Pope earned Second-Team All-Region honors.

Smith was selected to the All-Region team for a first time in her career. On the season she was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Attacker of the Year and First-Team All-Conference. She posted 87 points on the year with 76 goals and 11 assists while adding 76 draw controls, 47 ground balls and caused 20 turnovers.. 

Pope was selected to the All-Region team for a first time in her career. On the season she was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference. She caused 72 turnovers on the season which ranked among the tops in Division III while scooping up 85 ground balls for the Spartans. 

The Aurora University women's lacrosse team concluded the 2026 season with a 12-8 overall record and won the NACC tournament title.
