The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced the 2026 Softball All-Region Teams on Friday. AU had a pair of student-athletes selected to the 2026 Region III Teams..
 
Juniors Lily Komperda and Mia Rivera were named the Region VIII Third-Team after they previously earned NACC All-Conference recognition.

Rivera led the AU pitching staff with a 13-6 overall record with 17 complete games and one shutouts. In 119-2/3 innings pitched she struck out 52. At the plate she hit .423 with three doubles, four triples, scored 36 runs and drove in 11. Komperda hit .371 with 13 doubles, eight home runs, seven triples, 46 runs batted in and 31 runs scored.

The AU softball team finished the 2026 season with a 26-15 record and went 16-8 in the NACC.
