Smith plays in IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

The Aurora University women's lacrosse program was represented in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star game for a third time in program history when the IWLCA 2026 Senior All-Star games for Division I, II, and III took place. AU senior attack Nicolina Smith represented the Spartans in the 2026 event.

Smith was selected to the IWLCA Division III White Team after a standout season and career which saw her selected as a 2026 Second-Team All-Region midfielder and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Attacker of the Year and First-Team All-Conference. She posted 87 points on the year with 76 goals and 11 assists while adding 76 draw controls, 47 ground balls and caused 20 turnovers.

The IWLCA announced the rosters for the 2026 Senior All-Star games for Division I, II, and III. The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: Blue and White. The Senior All-Star games were held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.

The Spartans concluded the 2026 season in the NCAA Division III Tournament with an overall record of 12-8 while winning the NACC tournament championships.
