The top-seed Aurora University baseball team took on the second-seed Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders in the second round of the NACC tournament. AU controlled this one from the get-go and run-ruled the conference foes in eight innings, winning 12-2 to advance the championship game.

- The Raiders had base runners early, and used the "stolen-base-stop" play to score a runner from third.
- AU then responded with multiple bases loaded situations in the bottom of the first.
- Ryan Buck walked in Joe Lukancic, then Isaac Goddard singled in Zack Tarrant to score AU's first two runs of the ballgame.
- Isaac Wendler then led off the bottom of the second with a laser shot over the left field wall to expand the lead to now 3-1.
- Buck then hit a SAC fly to center, scoring Lukancic.
- Now moving to the fourth innings, AU's power bat in Tyler Patton launch a ball into orbit, again over the left field wall to score Kyle Mack.
- That was Patton's second homer in two games, his 15th on the season, and registered as his 66th and 67th RBI on the year.
- In the fifth, Mack walked in Matthew Washington with the bases juiced, and Lukancic later scored on a wild pitch to take the AU lead to now 8-1.
- MSOE tacked on one more in the seventh, then AU responded with a Mack SAC fly to score Lukacic.
- AU used the eighth inning to shorten the game by an inning when Nick Czarnecki singled in Buck, and Tarrant smacked a ball at the third baseman leading to an errant throw that allowed Washington to score the finishing run.
- The Spartans take this one 12-2 and head to the championship game.
