The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their awards for the 2025-2026 NCAA Division III season with a trio of Spartans earning top honors for the strong on the course performance throughout the year..

AU senior Jackson Hulsey and sophomores Mattias Morris and Caleb Negley played their way to 2025-2026 Golf Coaches Association of America / Ping Division III All-American honors. Hulsey was named to the Third-Team while Morris and Negley were honorable mention selections.

The All-American selections mark the fifth straight season AU has had an All-American honoree. Hulsey and Morris both earned the honors following the 2024-2025 season.

Hulsey and Morris were previously named to the GCAA Region 6 All-Region Team while leading AU to the 2025-2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship and return to the NCAA Division III Championship. All three earned NACC All-Conference honors with Hulsey capturing medalist honors at the NACC Men's Golf Championship and being named the NACC Roger Fleming Men's Golf Athlete of the Year.

The 2025-2026 Spartans set a new program standard with a third-place finish at the 2026 NCAA Championship event with a four-round score of 1,143. Negley finished in the Top-10 individuals with a tie for seventh. He shot a final round four-under 68 for a four-round score of 283. On the season the Spartans won their ninth consecutive NACC Championship, five tournament wins and two runner-up finishes.
