The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized the Aurora University women's lacrosse program and four team members earning IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll and Academic squad recognition for the 2025-2026 season.
The Honor Roll student-athletes were nominated by their schools, have achieved at least junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. To qualify for this prestigious Academic Squad honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year
Spartans recognized for their academic excellence by the IWLCA were:
Kara Middleton, senior (exercise science and Spanish)
Alle Pope, senior (nursing and Spanish)
Aurora Williams, senior (criminal justice and psychology)
McKenzie WIlson, junior (criminal justice and psychology)
AU finished the 2025-2026 year with a team gpa of 3.497 and 19 Spartans being named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Scholar-Athletes which required each student-athlete to maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average for the academic year. On the field, AU finished the 2026 season with an overall record of 12-8 and won the NACC tournament for an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
