Aurora University junior Caleb Negley has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. 

Negley earned the award after he captured medalist honors at the AU Double Gun for the second consecutive year, shooting rounds of 66 and 68 for a 10-under-par 134 total. The Spartans dominated the team competition with the team finishing at 1-under-par 575 with rounds of 285 and 290.

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Monday, September 21 and Tuesday, September 22 when they travel to the NCAA Division III Championship Fall Preview in Williamsburg, Virginia at Kingsmill Resort.
