Aurora University football quarterback
Jackson Alcorn was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week as selected by a panel of the NACC Athletic Communication professionals.
Offense --- Jackson Alcorn
Alcorn earned the honor after he paced the Aurora offense in a 61-5 win over Rockford, tying a NACC single-game record with eight touchdown passes. Overall, he was 16-of-24 through the air for 395 yards and two interceptions. The eight touchdowns, which sets an Aurora single-game record, matches the mark set by Rockford's Jaelen Ray (2021 vs. Eureka) and Benedictine's Evan Wydajewski (2022 at Rockford). The 395 yards is also third-most for a single game in program history.
Next scheduled action for the Spartan football team comes on Saturday, September 19 when they travel to Concordia University Wisconsin with opening kickoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. In Mequon, Wisconsin.
