The Aurora University men's golf team returned to the course to start the 2026 season in the AU Double Gun at Aurora Country Club. The Spartans led by junior
Caleb Negley dominated the day with AU-A winning the event, riding the wave to a one-under par 575 with a first round score of three-under 285 and shot a 290 in the second round. Negley led the way individually, winning medalist honors for a second consecutive year, shooting a 10-under par 134 (66/68) and was joined by his six teammates to all finish in the top 12.
