2020-21: Was named a NACC Scholar Athlete.

2019: Attended Aurora University and was a member of the Spartan Men's Cross Country Team. Was named an AU and NACC scholar-athlete.

2018: Attended Aurora University and was a member of the Spartan Men's Cross Country Team. Was named an AU and NACC scholar-athlete.

2017: Attended Aurora University and was a member of the Spartan Men's Cross Country team. Registered a career best time of 26:50.5 in the Spartan Classic. Was named an AU and NACC scholar-athlete.

2016: Attended Aurora University and was a member of the Spartan Men's Cross Country Team. Raced to a season best 27:40.6 8K at the Spartan Classic. Was named an AU and NACC scholar-athlete.

High School: Graduated from Danville High School in 2016 where he received varsity letters in cross country and track.

Family: Sandra Cooley, brother Ulas Broom, sister Arthetta Broom

Awards/Honors: 2x Track MVP. 3x Big 12 Conference Champion. 4x8 sectionall champion. 7th place 4x8 3A state. Team captain for Cross country and Track and Field.
