Aurora University Athletics

2011-2012:  As a member of AU's softball team, she was selected as a 2011-2012 NAC Scholar Athlete.

2010 - 2011: She appeared in four games for the Spartans and was selected a 2010-2011 NAC Scholar Athlete.

High School: Attended Heritage High School, where she played four years of varsity softball under Coach Lisa Boyer. She was named All-Conference her junior and senior year, Defensive Player of the year her senior year, and MVP all four years.  She also played basketball for four years under Coach Lisa Boyer and was named All-Conference honorable mention her sophmore and junior year, All-Conference and MVP her senior year, Offensive player of the year her sophmore year, and hit 1,000 career points her senior year.

Personal: Born June 4, 1992 in Champaign, IL.

Family: Jim and Donna Nickelson.  Two sisters, Jedidiah and Jeremiah Nickelson and two sisters McKenzie and Aleah Nickelson.

Hobbies: Listening to music, hanging out with friends, watching Law and Order SVU.

Major: Elementary Education.
