College as a Junior ('09): Was a member of the AU women's tennis team. She was selected as a 2009-2010 NAC Scholar Athlete.

College as a Sophomore ('08): Was a member of the AU women's tennis team. She was selected as a 2008-2009 NAC Scholar Athlete.

College as a Freshman ('07): Was a member of the AU women's tennis team and named Northern Athletics Conference Rookie of the Year. She was also selected as a 2007-2008 NAC Scholar Athlete.

High School: Attended  Dundee-Crown High School and played three years of varsity tennis under Coach Janet Malecek. As a senior, she was a state qualifier, All-Conference and named Northwest Herald Second-Place sectional.

Personal:  Born 4/25/89 in Elgin, IL.

Family: Warren and Lynnea Nelson. She has one brother, Scott, and one sister, Analisa.

Hobbies: Music, reading, theater, being with family and friends and movies.

Major: English-Secondary Education.
