What is your favorite sports moment at AU?
Going to Florida last year for ACHA nationals.

What is your most memorable academic experience at AU?
Getting to know some of my professors on a more personal level.

Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?
To play hockey closer to home.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
Martin St. Louis. He has always proven that persistence and determination can overcome all odds.

What is your favorite class and why?
I would probably say one of psychology classes. It's pretty interesting to be able to see what makes people the way that they are.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Kooy. He was great at relating the course to real life and making you think deeper about some of the most basic questions. I enjoyed having him, and I learned a lot from him.

Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?
I would like to think I'm decent at most sports, not great, but I enjoy trying to be competitive in pretty much any sport or activity.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?
Outside of hockey, I enjoy pretty much anything outside in the sun.

Who is your role model?
It's hard to pick just one role model. There are so many people in my family that impact my life. Younger or older, they all have qualities I like to follow.

What do you enjoy most about practice?
I just enjoy being on the ice. It's hard to explain, but when you're on the ice, it seems as though nothing else in the world exists. Everything else off the ice is out of mind while I'm out there.

What do you like least about practice?
Oh, that's easy. Definitely the conditioning, nobody likes conditioning.

What are your plans/goals after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to work on getting into the FBI or other government agency.

Do you have any pregame rituals?
Nothing in particular, I like to do the same stretches and that kind of stuff, but I mostly just like to stay relaxed and bring a lighter feel to the locker room.

What will you remember most from your college career?
I think I'll remember the people the most. After going to a few schools, you meet a pretty good amount of people, and I've been lucky enough to meet a lot.

As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?
Just enjoy it. The school work is unenjoyable, but the experience of college is something you can only have once. Make the best of every day you have here.
