History EducationWhat is your favorite sports moment at AU?Finishing all-conference in the 5,000 and the Steeplechase last outdoor season.
What is your most memorable academic experience at AU?Being accepted into Phi Alpha Theta.
Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?I loved the atmosphere of school as well as the dynamic of the team.
Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?Ashton Eaton, the decathlon world record holder, simply because he is the greatest athlete in history.Â
What is your favorite class and why?My favorite class I have ever taken is either East Asian History or Hitler and the Nazi Revolution however my favorite class that I am taking now is probably my Senior Seminar class.
Who is your favorite professor and why?My favorite professor is probably Dr. Soderstrom. He really knows what he is talking about and makes hour and a half lectures interesting.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?I enjoy playing bags and I'd like to think I'm pretty good at it. I also like to play the occasional game of Ultimate Frisbee.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?I love to play guitar and have been playing for quite a few years now.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?Swedish meatballs are a much underrated meal.

Who is your role model?I don't know if I have one single role model. I like to surround myself with people I can look up to in unique ways, I feel like that makes you a well-rounded person.
What do you enjoy most about practice?I love hanging out with the team. We can also find something to talk about even on a two hour long run down the Gilman.Â
What do you like least about practice?6:00a.m. practice during Indoor season is definitely not my favorite.
What are your plans/goals after graduation?Hopefully I will land a teaching job right out of school. I am willing to move a around to find a position.
Do you have any pregame rituals?I stick to carbs two nights before a race and red meat one. So I will have some sort of pasta followed by a couple of cheeseburgers the night before.
What will you remember most from your college career?My greatest race and the memories I make with my friends.
As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?Really come into college open minded. It makes it a much better experience; don't be afraid to put yourself out there.
