Spanish What is your favorite sports moment at AU?Winning our first playoff game in our home gym my junior year.
What is your most memorable academic experience at AU?Being selected to receive a partial scholarship for my semester abroad in Costa Rica.
Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?The opportunity to be not only an athlete but a student as well.
Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?Buster Posey from the San Francisco Giants because his work ethic is amazing.
What is your favorite class and why?Spanish because I believe that the opportunity to learn about another language and culture is very important for everyone.
Who is your favorite professor and why?Denise Hatcher. She has taught me so much about myself and the kind of student I can be. She has always been my #1 support system at Aurora University and she would always do whatever she can to help not only me, but everyone who crosses her path succeed.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?Ice skating.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?Traveling.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?Grilled cheese with tomato and bacon.
Who is your role model?My parents. They have always believed in me and my capabilities and have never doubted me.
What do you enjoy most about practice?Being able to work hard while enjoying the company of some of my best friends.
What do you like least about practice?NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE GYM WHEN IT’S MID AUGUST!
What are your plans/goals after graduation?Graduate early with my Spanish Degree and continue on with school to get my teaching license.
Do you have any pregame rituals?Embarrassing enough, I always use the bathroom about 5 minutes before a game.
What will you remember most from your college career?My academic and athletic successes and the people I've met along the way.
As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?Don't be stressed, there is always time to get everything done that you need to and don't forget to take care of yourself along the way. The freshman 15 is real.
