What is your favorite sports moment at AU?
Beating Millikin at home my senior year. It was an emotional win.

What is your most memorable academic experience at AU?
Going on a tour to Stateville Prison my sophomore and junior year.

Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?
Close to home and to continue playing football.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
Dan Gable. He was the best high school wrestler of all time and continued that into his collegiate career. He was undefeated until his senior year in the NCAA finals, where he lost the championship match. His overall record was 181-1. He is my favorite athlete because I loved wrestling in high school and used him as a role model. It also taught me that even the best can.

What is your favorite class and why?
Intro to human communication. It helped me gain confidence as a public speaker and taught me how to put a presentation together professionally.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
Margaret Hernandez. She taught my human communication class and helped me so much gaining confidence as a public speaker. She made the rest of my college career so much easier when having to give a presentation. Even after taking her class I always go out of my way to say hello when I see her. I cant say enough about her.

Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?
I’m an all-around athlete. I love playing all sports.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?
Anything outdoors. For example; hunting, mountain biking, boating, fishing, hiking.

What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?
Chicken Enchiladas

Who is your role model?
My mother and father

What do you enjoy most about practice?
Winning the situation against our defense so we don't have to do up-downs.

What do you like least about practice?
Pushing the 5 man sled for 45 minutes.

What are your plans/goals after graduation?
Work full time and test for police departments. In a year I want to be hired full time working for a police department.

Do you have any pregame rituals?
I only let certain people tape me before the game. I also like to go to the weight room and lift for 30min to get a sweat going and loosen up.

What will you remember most from your college career?
All the friends I made and funny moments we shared.

As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?
In the classroom or on the field, put in the work necessary and do the little things right and you will be successful.
