What is your favorite sports moment at AU?
Dressing up for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Invite every year. Each year we have a theme and its really cool to see how everyone interprets it.

What is your most memorable academic experience at AU?
Being named the Lincoln Laureate. It was a complete surprise and an honor to be chosen from the seniors here at AU.

Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?
I've always known that I wanted to go to a small school. I never saw myself in a huge lecture hall with 75+ students. I also enjoyed the community environment at AU.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
Alicia Sacramone. She worked hard and made the Olympic Gymnastics team in 2008 after a set back in 2004. She did not rest on her past accomplishments but continued to work hard and improve.

What is your favorite class and why?
Spanish Phonetics. It was interesting to see how the Spanish Language is broken up, it was different that any other Spanish class I had taken.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
Doctor Hatcher. She's always been supportive and is there to help. She always tries to keep class interesting and truly cares about her students.

Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?
I used to do gymnastics and can still tumble and do the splits.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?
Extreme trampoline. Anything outdoors.

What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?
I don't really have one.

Who is your role model?
My older sister.

What do you enjoy most about practice?
I enjoy how supportive we are of one another. If someone is having a rough day there is always someone to talk to.

What do you like least about practice?
Cross training. I'd rather just run everyday.

What are your plans/goals after graduation?
I want to work for the Girl Scouts full time and go to grad school to get my MBA.

Do you have any pregame rituals?
I wear the same necklace everyday and before each race I kiss it and tuck it into my jersey.

What will you remember most from your college career?
I'll remember the support that everyone has given me over the past four years in both academics and athletics. The coaching staff and faculty take time to get to know you and build relationships.

As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?
Don't over think anything. There will days where you question everything that you're doing but believe that it will all be worth it in the end.
