Carter Turnquist joined the Aurora University baseball program as an assistant coach in the winter of 2023, returning to the Spartans after a four-year career on the diamond for the Spartans. His duties include recruiting and pitch development with Spartan pitchers.. Turnquist is Rapsodo pitching certified.
Turnquist returns to the Spartans after a four year career and seven years of coaching experience with various travel baseball organizations. In his four seasons as a Spartan on the mound, Turnquist had a 10-4 record and two saves with three complete games. He appeared in 35 games with 27 starts while pitching 158-2/3 innings.
In his four years on the field, he helped AU to a 112-36 record with one Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship and appearances in the 2018, 2019 and 2021 NCAA Division III Baseball Regionals.
