Kirk Williamson

Kirk Williamson joins the AU coaching staff as an assistant coach after a four-year career as a Spartan. He was a graduate assistant for the 2012-2013 year.

In his career, Kirk had a .361 batting average with 112 runs batted in, 89 runs scored, 37 doubles, 16 home runs and 11 stolen bases 105 games played.  As a junior, he was named CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine First-Team Academic All-District and Second-Team Academic All-America. As a senior, he was named Second-Team All-Central Region, First-Team All-Northern Athletics Conference and CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Second-Team Academic All-District.

In June 2010, Kirk signed a professional contract to play with baseball with the Rockford Riverhawks, an independent team, out of Rockford, Illinois.

Williamson came to AU from Naperville, Illinois where he played his high school baseball at Neuqua Valley High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Aurora University in history with a minor in mathematics.
