Phil Fox joined the Aurora University baseball staff prior to the 2013 season as an assistant coach.
Fox brings a vast knowledge of the game of baseball to the Spartans at both the collegiate and high school levels. A 2013 inductee into the Downers Grove South HIgh School Hall of Fame and 2008 Illinois Baseball Hall of Fame, Fox spent years as the Head Baseball Coach at Downers Grove South and Oregon High Schools.
After retiring from Downers Grove South, Fox has continued to share his baseball experience and knowledge with the Chicago White Sox academies as a senior athlete advisor.
In 2012, Fox was an assistant coach at Harper College.
