Zachary Skog joined the Aurora University baseball coaching staff for the 2016 season.
Skog assists with the Spartan offense including hitting and base running while focusing defensively on the outfield.
He works as an instructor with the Naperville Baseball Academy and is an assistant coach with the Kane County Phantoms.
Skog spent four seasons as an outfielder at Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference opponent Wisconsin Lutheran College.
In his time at WLC he was a four-year NACC Scholar-Athlete. On the field he hit .268 with 26 runs scored, 31 runs batted in, eight doubles and one triple.
Skog is a native of Hampshire, Illinois and received a bachelors degree in business administration from Wisconsin Lutheran College.
An ordained minister and has presided over Spartan weddings including all-time hits leader Jett Wedekind.
