Annie Craig was named the Aurora University Cheer and Dance Head Coach prior to the 2015-2016 season.
She holds bachelor degrees in exercise physiology and dance from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She has been teaching group exercise since 1983 and was the owner/operator of Annie’s Om Towne Fitness in Aurora for from 2009 to 2014. She has been at Aurora University since 2012 where she teaches yoga, pilates, cardio kick boxing, aerobic dance, and step and train. Craig has a strong background in gymnastics and brings a unique approach to her coaching methods. She realizes and embraces the importance of mindfulness and enjoying movement.
