Coach Ramirez enters his 2^nd year as a volunteer assistant coach for the AU distance program. He is a 2012 graduate of Harper College and a 2015 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art with a concentration in Design. At EIU, Ramirez was an NCAA West Region qualifier in the 10,000m run with his performance of 29:50 at the MVC Outdoor Championships.

Ramirez is a teacher assistant at Palatine High School, and resides in Elk Grove Village with his wife Janet who is also a teacher and coach.
