Jeff Fellers was named Head Coach of the Aurora University men's and women's track and field programs in the summer of 2018. He became the fourth head coach of the AU Track and Field programs since the sports were reintroduced to campus in 2003 and first Spartan alum to assume the duties.
He assumes the duties as Head Coach after being an assistant coach for both the cross country and track and field teams at AU for the last three seasons. Prior to becoming a full-time assistant he was the graduate assistant from 2013-2015. His individual event roles include Pole Vault, Relay Handoffs, Block Starts, and assisting with the Multi’s.
In his time at AU, Fellers has coached two All-Americans including a national runner-up, five national qualifiers, over 30 conference champions, over 50 All-Conference Performers, and six Conference Records in the Vault and Relays. While also helping to lead the AU program as a whole to 58 National Qualifiers, 36 All-American's, and two National Champion's since 2013.
As an athlete for the Spartans, Fellers captured three conference titles in the Pole Vault and was a part of the conference winning Distance Medley Relay in 2007. Â He was an eight-time All-Conference performer in Track & Field and the school and conference record holder in the Pole Vault when he graduated. During his time at AU Fellers also played football and helped lead the Spartans to a conference title and the Division III Playoffs in 2008. He is in the top-10 All-Time for All-Purpose Yards. Â
Fellers has a B.S. in Fitness and Health Promotion and earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration in May, 2015.
