Sarah Thompson comes to Aurora University as one of the top all around track and field women athletes in the CCIW as a Carthage College graduate,. She was a team captain and MVP for both 2012 indoor and outdoor seasons. She holds the school record for the pentathlon and heptathlon as well as the CCIW record for the pentathlon. In 2012 Thompson concluded her track and field career with two NCAA Division III All American Honors; she placed sixth in the pentathlon and seventh in the heptathlon.
Thompson holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and environmental science as well as a minor in chemistry from Carthage College. At Aurora University she will be working toward obtaining her secondary education certification.
