Kaylee Underwood joined the Aurora University Athletic Department as an Athletic Facilities and COVID Testing Manager in October of 2021 and completed her master’s degree in exercise science in 2022. Underwood was promoted to Athletic Facilities and Events Manager in July of 2022.
Underwood graduated from Aurora University in the spring of 2021, earning a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.
During her undergrad, Underwood served two years as a student assistant in the athletic communication department. Additionally, Underwood served as an athletic training intern at West Aurora High School as well as a strength and conditioning intern for various Spartan athletic programs. Underwood was a recipient of the 2021 NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award.
Underwood was a four-year member of the Spartan Softball program.
Currently, Underwood assists with Spartan athletic facilities and all home events. She coordinates directly with Aurora University faculty and coaches, athletes, and student workers. Additionally, Underwood develops and communicates weekly schedules with all student workers.
Underwood is a native of Aurora, Illinois.
