Jeff Probst joined the Aurora University staff in 2009 as an outreach athletic trainer with ATI Physical Therapy. He became a full time assistant athletic trainer in 2011 and then promoted to head athletic trainer in 2022. He was awarded AU’s Athletic Training Education’s Clinical Educator of the Year Award in 2013 and 2019. He currently works primarily with football, men's basketball, men's lacrosse, and men's/women's golf.
Probst received his B.S. in athletic training from Illinois State University in 2005 and then his M.S. in 2009. In between those stints, he worked as an outreach athletic trainer at DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis, MO.
He has been certified by the Board of Certification since 2005 and is licensed as an athletic trainer in the state of Illinois.
