Aurora University men's cross country runner Drew Schmitt (Batavia, Ill./Batavia H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.

The AU senior finished 10th at the Spartan Classic with a time of 26:15.5 to help the Spartans to a fourth-place team finish. He was the top performer among NAC participants in the 8K event.

The next action for Schmitt and the men's cross country team comes on Saturday, September 15, 2012, when they travel to Concordia University Wisconsin. Meet time is set for 11 a.m. in Mequon, Wis.
