Aurora University freshman jumper Jenna Taylor (Donovan, Ill./Donovan H.S.) and sophomore runner Wade Robinson (Richmond, Calif./El Cerrito H.S.) were named the Northern Athletics Conference Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 24, 2013.
In her first collegiate outdoor meet, Taylor set a NAC and AU record in the high jump with her height of 1.60 meters.
Robinson captured the NAC award when he finished seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.03, was 13th in the 200-meter with a time of 23.14, and was part of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished fifth with a time of 3:33.18.
Next action for the Spartan men's and women’s track and field teams comes on Friday, April 5 when they travel to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater Invite. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Whitewater, Wis.
