Aurora University men’s cross country runner T.J. Pitcock (Byron, Illinois/Byron H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men’s Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.

Pitcock, a freshman competing in his first 8k race, led the Spartans to the 2014 AU Spartan Classic meet win as he took home medalist honors with a time of 26:55.1.

Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Saturday, September 13 when they travel to Concordia University Wisconsin for the Falcon Invitational. Meet time is set for noon in Mequon, Wisconsin.
