Aurora University sophomore thrower Ryan Njegovan was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.

Njegovan earned the honor after posting another impressive performance at the University of Chicago Phoenix Invitational. He broke his own AU and NACC record in the shot put with his throw of 16.87 meters (55'4.25") which won the event and is the third longest throw in all of NCAA Division III on the year.
