Aurora University women's cross country runner Jackie Schane has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

The AU junior won the individual crown at the 2017 AU Spartan XC Classic with a time of 22:04.6 as the Spartans finished fifth as a team.

Next action for the Spartan women's cross country teams comes on Friday, September 22 when they travel to the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational. Meet time is set for 4:30 p.m. at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois.
