Aurora University Senior Brandon Pichen is this week's Athlete of the Week after he took on the field in the hammer throw and for the fourth consecutive NCAA track and field championship, indoor or outdoor, Pichen showed well. Pichen advanced to the finals with his first throw, hurling a 58.27 meter distance which was fifth entering the finals. His mark would hold up to finish seventh and earn All-American honors for the second consecutive year at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship and his fourth time as a Spartan.
