Aurora University football senior defensive lineman Kurtis Chione was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Defensive Student-Athletes of the Week.

Chione earned the defensive honor with his performance in AU's 25-7 victory over Rockford University. In the win, Chione had nine tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss and a forced fumble, while also breaking up one pass. On the season, Chione has 44 tackles with 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass break-ups.
