Aurora University junior forward Lexie Martinez was named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Offensive Player of the week, the league office announced.
 
Martinez earned the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week after playing a key role in the Spartans weekend victories over St. Olaf. She scored four goals - including a hat trick in the series opener - as AU improved to 4-0 on the year with the 7-1 and 2-1 victories on the road. She netted two of her four tallies on the power play, with the fourth goal coming early in the 2-1 win to get the scoring started. On the season, Martinez leads AU with five goals and an assist through the first four games, all Spartan victories.
