Aurora University Spartan women's lacrosse senior midfielder Claire Carlson was named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive player of the week, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Carlson earned the MWLC Offensive honor after she had 15 points, 11 goals and four assists, and added five ground balls, eight draw controls and a caused turnover in a pair of wins on the west coast at Willamette University, 16-1, and Linfield College, 22-4.
On the season, Carlson leads the Spartsns with 20 points on a team-high seven assists and 13 goals. She is second on the team in ground balls with 10, draw controls with eight and caused turnovers with four.
