Aurora University Men's Volleyball junior middle Emmanuel Chaidez earned All-American honors when the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2020 men's volleyball All-American teams. Chaidez was selected as an Honorable Mention AVCA All-American, the first in the program's three year history.

Chaidez helped lead the Spartans to a 12-4 record before the season was ended due to COVID-19. Just one week after he earned All-Region recognition in his first season as a Spartan, he added this latest honor. In 16 matches and 57 sets played, Chaidez averaged 1.75 kills per set while hitting .356 and having 20 service aces. On the defensive side of the net, he had 56 blocks with 29 digs.

The Spartans finished with the first winning record in the three seasons of the programs existence while appearing for the first time in the AVCA Top 15 in early February.
