The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Championships were scheduled to conclude April 27, but due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the NACC Council of Chief Executive Officers canceled the 2020 spring seasons on March 13. As a result, the 2019-20 NACC team title and postseason award winners have been determined exclusively by the fall portion of the 2019-20 NACC Championship, which took place Oct. 6-7 at Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisconsin. The men played 36 holes at its par-72 Irish course.

The opening two rounds saw the Aurora University men's golf team dominate the action, leading by 26 strokes with a two-round total of 614, 307 in both rounds at Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisconsin (meet results). All five Spartans golfers would end up in the top nine individual golfers led by freshman Scott Boyajian who led after two rounds with senior Noah Hogue in second.

Today, the NACC announced that the first two rounds would stand with the Spartans of Aurora University being awarded the 2019-2020 NACC Men's Golf Championship and all-conference awards being announced as well. The NACC crown is the third consecutive for the Spartans and ninth overall conference championship.

Freshman Scott Boyajian built on his national recognition earlier in the spring (GCAA All-Freshman Team) by being named the NACC Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and all-conference after securing medalist honors. He shot a 150 in the two rounds with a 73 and 77.

Joining Boyajian on the NACC All-Conference team are all four of his Spartan teammates who took to the course last fall. Senior Noah Hogue finished tied for second with a two round score of 154 (81/73); senior JT Hudson and freshman Ryan Vanderway finished tied for fourth with a two round score of 156 (77/79) and junior Craig Schlegel finished ninth with a two round score of 158 (80/78).

For seniors Hudson and Hogue, they earn back to back NACC All-Conference honors with Hudson becoming a four-time NACC All-Conference selection and was the 2018-2019 NACC Player of the Year.

AU Head Coach Justin Wyeth was named the NACC Men's Golf Coach of the Year, his third straight as the men's coach and eighth overall, five coming as the Spartan women's golf coach.
