Aurora University senior guard Julie Galauner was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week following her becoming AU women's basketball's all-time leading scorer.

Galauner averaged 17 points in the two games to wrap up the 2021 portion of the schedule. She scored 20 points and came up with a double-double adding 11 rebounds in AU's 63-62 victory over North Central. Earlier in the week, Galauner scored 14 points to move into first place in the AU women's basketball all-time scoring list. In doing so, she broke the previous mark which was held by AU legend Dana Lettow (Wagner) who scored 1,693 from 1993-1997.

On the season, Galauner is averaging 12.4 points per game and for her career, she currently has 1,716 points.

Next action for the Spartan women's basketball team (4-6 overall and 2-2 in the NACC) comes tonight, Tuesday, January 4 when they travel to Benedictine University with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. in Lisle, Illinois.
