Aurora University's Robbie Peterson Jr. has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of May 9-15, 2022, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. This is the second consecutive week Peterson has received a NACC weekly honor.

Peterson (jr., Sarasota, Fla.) jumped his way into the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a leap of 14.86 meters (48-3) at the North Central (Ill.) Carius/Gregory Invitational. His leap leads all NACC competitors and ranks eighth nationally. It also set a new Aurora program record, breaking the previous mark by a foot.

Next action for the Spartan men's track and field team comes on Thursday, May 19 at the Twilight Qualifier hosted by Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.
