Aurora University senior Kallie Sakamoto has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. The honor is her third of the season.

Sakamoto earned the honor after she fired rounds of 84 and 77 during the final weekend of the 2022 NACC Women's Golf Championships at Quit Qui Oc Golf Club in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. She finished with a four-round total of 318 to capture medalist honors and earn all-league recognition for the fourth time.

Next action for the Spartan women's golf team comes in the spring of 2022 schedule as they will prepare for the 2022-2023 NCAA Division III Championship. The NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship will take place in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida at Mission Inn Resort and Club.
