Aurora University freshman Asher Deputy has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. The award is the second of the season for Deputy.

Deputy earned the honor after he collected a pair of conference victories in goal last week as AU defeated Beloit College, 25-5, and Benedictine University, 17-6. In the win at Beloit, he played just under 40 minutes and collected two saves. Deputy had 18 saves in a full games worth of action against Benedictine.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan men's lacrosse team comes on Saturday, April 27 when they host Edgewood College. Opening face-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Spartan Athletic Park in Montgomery, Illinois.
