Aurora University senior Ellie Knight has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. Knight earned the NACC Golfer of the Week for a second time this season.

Knight earned the weekly conference award after she captured medalist honors at the 2024 NACC Women's Golf Championships, finishing at 10-over-par 233 over 54 holes. She posted scores of 73, 74, and 76 over the three-day event to win by eight strokes over teammate Megan Kobelt. Knight, the defending NACC Player of the Year, helped lead the Spartans to a 12th NACC women's golf title. She also won her final tuneup for the NACC Championships, taking the title at the Joliet Junior College Clash at the Creek with a six-over 77.

Next scheduled action for the Spartans comes on Monday, October 14 at the TPC Deere Run Invitational In Silvis, Illinois.
