Aurora University sophomore Maddux Tarasievich has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. This week's period of consideration did not include the recently completed opening 36 holes of the 2024-2025 NACC Men's Golf Championships.

Tarasievich earned the weekly conference honor after he led AU to a team victory at the NCAA Division II Lewis University Flyer Intercollegiate. He finished tied for second individually with a 36-hole score of 146 (72-74).

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team will come in the spring season as they prepare for the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference Championship spring rounds.
