Aurora University Athletics

Aurora University Athletics in conjunction with BSN Sports proudly announces the recipients of the BSN Spartan Athletes of the Week award. The honors are earned based on the student-athletes performances on their respective playing surface the previous week.

This week's honors go to AU student-athlete, junior Braedon Hellinger.

Braedon Hellinger, football - 
Hellinger earned the honor after he was the MVP of the SmileyCookie.com LakeFront Bowl as he collected two blocked punts, both which resulted in teammates immediately scoring a touchdown and also had an interception from his linebacker position. AU won the LakeFront Bowl over Illinois College 49-14.
