The second set found the Spartans jump out to a quick 9-0 lead and eventually led 15-5 before cruising to the 25-14 set win. Mitchell once again led the Spartans
with four kills in the set.

The third set proved to be a bit more challenging for the Spartans, though they would prevail 25-22 and take the match 3-0. Senior Amy Reynolds had four kills while Mitchell added
three more of her own.

Mitchell led all players with 11 kills on the night, while Reynolds chipped in eight kills and nine digs and freshman Heather Ksiazek had 30 assists.
