Box Score In the second game in less than 24 hours for the Aurora University Spartan women's soccer team, the Spartans fell to the visiting Scots of Alma College, 2-0 Sunday afternoon on Vago Field.

The visiting Scots tallied one goal each in the first and second half and overcame numerous Spartan scoring chances in the game.

The Spartans out-shot Alma 14 to 10 in the contest including six shots on goal to only four for Alma.

AU sophomore goalkeeper Liz Wong had two saves and allowed two goals for the Spartans.

Next action for the Spartan women's soccer team comes on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 when they host Marian University. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. on Vago Field.
